Health matters:
- The most common health issues that you may face in Kuala
Lumpur are sunburn and dehydration.
- Apply sunscreen well and wear sunglasses in the daytime.
- Drink lots of water to avoid dehydration.
- Keep all the medicines in ample amount with you for travel,
if you are using any.
Visa, passport and tickets:
- Make sure that you possess a valid passport for a minimum
of 6 months from the date of entrance on peninsular Malaysia.
- Also remember that several visitors do not need a visa
to go in Malaysia if the time period is less than 90 days
and the purpose of the visit is social or business.
- Never ever forget your passport, Visa and tickets on the
day of flight.
- If got passport or visa misplaced, immediately contact
related embassy.
Security:
- Try to evade taking too much valuable things like jewellery,
watches and cameras in travel.
- Never leave your belongings unattended anywhere on airport.
- Use traveler's cheques, if carrying cash then keep it
in a hidden money pouch, and use a credit card when possible.
Currency:
- The official currency of Malaysia is Ringgit.
- Keep some additional money with you to avoid any problem
and immediate expenses of landing at the airport.
- To exchange the foreign currency and traveller's cheques
into Malaysian currency; several banks or moneychangers
are available throughout the country.
- Banks are open from Monday to Friday 10:00am to 3:00pm
and Saturday 9:30am to 11:30am.

- Kuala Lumpur enjoys several festivals throughout the year,
so it's good to check well before to avoid crowd and busy
roads.

- Check the weather forecast for next 24 hours of KL before
your flight, and then dress according to the season.
